Kernel woes

I've recompiled my kernel about 5 times in the last 2 days to try get my PVR-150 installed an running properly with the new 2.6.16 vanilla kernel. On doing some googling i cam upon a page that told me that i have to enable some stuff in my kernel to allow ivtv 0.6.2 to compile properly with the new kernel.
i kept on getting:

ivtv0: Failed to load module cx25840
ivtv0: Failed to load module wm8775
—————-snip————–
ivtv0 warning: i2c client addr: 0×44 not found for command 0×40085618!
ivtv0 warning: i2c client addr: 0×44 not found for command 0xc0045627!
ivtv0 warning: i2c client addr: 0×44 not found for command 0×40046d11!
ivtv0 warning: i2c client addr: 0×44 not found for command 0×40085618!

Thanks to Ian Campbell and his website he pointed me in the right direction.

As I write this with the new settings enabled i do hope this gets rid of the blasted errors.

THEN after i deal with that.. then need to move on to lircd .. which i think i may have down pact. to a degree that is :D
